Philly Tech Sistas is an organization aimed at helping women of color gain technical and professional skills in order to work, thrive, and move up in the tech industry. We do this by providing coding workshops and professional development events that build leadership, confidence, and community. Our vision is to partner with tech companies throughout the Philadelphia area and beyond to help bridge the diversity, equity and inclusion gap by providing a greater pipeline of diverse talent.
While women make up 57% of the U.S. workforce, they represent only 26% of STEM workers?!
Over the past 2 decades, the U.S. science and engineering workforce has become more diverse, but several racial and ethnic minority groups continue to be significantly underrepresented. Overall, Hispanics, Blacks, and American Indians/Alaska Natives make up a smaller share of the STEM workforce (11%).

Upon completion, you'll be more prepared to take the Salesforce Admin Certification exam. Combining the certification with your transferable skills, you’ll be qualified for various roles that require Salesforce expertise. Our graduates find opportunities as business analysts, CRM Managers, consultants, and more. Plus, our career support, including interview prep and LinkedIn optimization, helps you stand out to employers.
